35mm Negatives
Are your photos too damaged or faded to be scanned?  A good alternative is to scan the original 35mm color or black & white negatives. Actually, scanning negatives results in much better digital images. Photo prints are second generation images, so scanned photo prints inherit the quality loss that occurs during film developing, or due to normal photo deterioration. Negatives are "master" copies, as they retain much greater detail and contrast than is possible with photo prints.
